As someone who doesn’t understand the arcane and subtle inner workings of “wall street” I’m just going to ask the obvious: why TF can’t wall street people just ignore Trump’s lies like everyone else?

Or is it just because everyone is bedding down on Thursday night thinking “yeah Trump might tweet something when he’s on the shitter in the morning so better reduce my holdings and see what happens”

Most people just aren’t interested in politics.

No, it’s obvious that the republicans are going to try to manipulate the outcome in their favor.

However, if the swing against them is large enough they won’t be able to push the needle far enough back their way.

edit: I kinda wonder why Iran isn’t pushing a lot harder to manipulate public opinion. Fake photos of petrol prices. Rumours of fuel shortages. Rumours about the Trump family profiting somehow. Rumours that Bibi was going to release unredacted Epstein Kompromat. Plans to draft people for war in Iran. Even the dems could be doing this really.

Great opportunity for someone to give him and his family asylum just to throw some shade on the USA.

This is a great question that I’m kinda raging about.

I’m Australian. Our fuel prices have increased by almost 50%. Inflation for this year is projected to be 5%.

This is a ridiculous, unnecessary war, serving the interests of a despot we have had no business in supporting.

I imagine that our Prime Minister would say, we were USA allies for 100 years before Trump, and will be for 100 years after he’s gone. It’s true that our alliance runs deep. The current AUKUS agreement concerns building submarines in partnership over several decades.

However, I’m peeved that our Prime Minister is tip toeing around avoiding saying anything mean about the pedo in chief. Trump has thrown us all under the bus for his own reasons, and absolutely deserves to be called out.

What could go wrong.

Even without the technical knowledge of military uniforms, one look at any of these and my mind is just screaming “probably fake”.

IDK why exactly.

I think it’s mostly that she’s so young and beautiful and doesn’t have that vapid dead-behind-the-eyes look that most MAGA women do. She looks like a happy vivacious young woman, not like a highly decorated military officer.

IDK how to say this but if women like her actually existed we would already be overrun with real photos of them in the oval office.

The other red flags that don’t require technical knowledge that trip the “probably fake” alert buzzer:

Why is she wearing a crop top that looks like it’s from cost-co?

Why is she standing around on a ship in high heels looking serious?

Why is she walking around on a military base with Trump without the usual entourage?

The job is distracting from everything else happening in the US and potentially providing an excuse to delay midterms indefinitely.

He seems to have found the one fucking thing that Americans actually care about and can’t stop fucking with it.
