The account is an example of how artificial intelligence is being used to push political agendas in wartime

MAGA has been swooning over photos of a blonde U.S. Army soldier, walking defiantly alongside President Donald Trump to carry out the America First agenda. But there’s just one problem — she’s AI.

Images most likely generated by artificial intelligence depicted Jessica Foster wearing heels on a U.S. warship in the Strait of Hormuz, posing for selfies with Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and giving a speech at the president’s “Board of Peace” event earlier this year.

The account, which has since been taken down, gained more than one million followers since its mysterious creator started posting on it four months ago, The Washington Post reports.

Do military women really wear that kind of uniform with fragile pantyhose? And high heels aboard a warship? That alone would make me call BS.

It’s sad that we live in a world where this occurs.

I lay the blame squarely at the feet of corporate social media.

Does it really matter? These people were detached from reality long before AI was a thing. These are the people who swallowed horse dewormer to fight off a virus, stormed the capitol to hang their own party’s VP over election fraud that never happened (but that they are now actively preparing themselves), and attacked a pizzeria to save children from the clutches of pedophiles (all the while ignoring their idol’s ties to, and probably involvement with the crimes of, pedophile child trafficker Epstein).

We must come to grips with the fact that a significant part of the U.S. population is living in an alternative, media-generated universe. Baudrillard would be laughing his arse off if he could see it. The question is: how to deal with that.

It seems you’ve thought deeply about this. I’ve done so as well.

It really fucking freaks me out that such a large chunk of our society is detached from objective, verifiable realty. A fair amount of what they believe is pants-on-head crazy vengeance fantasy. Another big chunk has spooky parallels to literal Nazi propaganda such as the Protocol of the Elders of Zion, it’s so similar that it’s obviously just borrowed. It’s shocking that more people don’t see it for what it transparently is.

I have no clue what can be done about it. I don’t know how society heals this or reinforces the value of facts, sanity, and critical thinking.

You got anything? Any thoughts about where we go from here? How to unfuck their heads? Where does this end if they aren’t deprogrammed? How long will we be trapped in this?

Genuine questions because I ain’t got a fucking clue at this point.

I think it is a fight on all fronts situation.

If I am picking a single issue I am picking transparency. Without it you don’t have a democracy.

I push for more ranked voting, there are a few types that all seem fine.

Illinois just had a plurality wins primary, that’s crazy to me.

I found a thing I was looking for, referred from activistchecklist.org

“You’re three people who’ve held #meetings, made decisions, navigated disagreement, migrated platforms, and built a #SetOfAgreements you wrote yourselves. That’s not common.”

          Those are good security guides.

I think I’m at the point where it’s more about keeping my head down. Protect my family and people. Hope we don’t end up in a camp.

Until one of these occurs, nothing changes: some real national leadership opposing this, more than 5% start going hungry, or large numbers of people are being murdered/placed in camps.

There almost definitely was voter fraud in 2020, but a different party was doing it than MAGA thinks. They got better at it in 2024.

Why not? 77 million people voted for Trump. And before you cry “election fraud”, the pre election polls measured similar numbers.

All the pollsters were pretty close to each other. If you posit fabricated polls, then you are saying that every single pollster in the US is completely compromised. That is just tinfoil hat, in the uncool way.

“This technology” is, as used here, industrial scale lying which was made possible through industrial scale theft.

We can re-phrase the question: “Why is the right jumping headlong into industrial scale lies and crime, while the left loses ground on this front?”

An answer suggests itself to me.

We can be on a moral high ground all we want but it does not change the fact that they are winning.

I don’t think it’s strictly about “moral high ground.” If you’re willing to do anything to win, then if you do win, the winner will be a person who is willing to do anything.

Plus, unrealistic standards just shrinks their already small dating pool. With a bit of luck evolution will take care of the fascists all on its own.
