“They dragged little Greta [Thunberg] by her hair before our eyes, beat her, and forced her to kiss the Israeli flag. They did everything imaginable to her, as a warning to others,”

We require the headline match the article, currently reading “Israel accused of detaining Greta Thunberg in infested cell and making her hold flags”
Please make it match or we’ll have to remove it.

“little Greta”
…ew. Who talks about an adult woman like that in the news?!
Will you morons stop nitpicking this? Contextually, for an older person, she’s still a child. Big whoop.
She was beaten and you daft imbeciles are outraged over the use of words.
You wonder why you get no progress? Because you’re a bucket of crabs nitpicking anything that isn’t perfect because that’s easier than actually doing something.
Yea, llittle could mean stature, too.
I mean, to anyone past their 20’s Greta is still basically a child. She’s only 22, and there’s a reason adults call them “college kids”.
I work with a bunch of people in their early 20’s, and 100% think of them as children. Sure they can vote, and maybe they’re old enough to drink. But they’re definitely not mature.
I know right?! She’s 22 ffs.
To be fair that’s still really young
She may be a young adult, but she’s still an adult.
Anyone under 25 is a child
I’m 29 and I still feel like a child on a good day.
I don’t like that usage of “unimaginable”.
War crime
Israeli politics are pure Nazism. Palestine is one big concentration camp. Yet they wonder why some Palestinians try to retaliate against civilians too.
When fascists tell you that they’re going to do evil shit, believe them.
“The embassy has been able to meet with Greta,” reads the email. “She informed of dehydration. She has received insufficient amounts of both water and food. She also stated that she had developed rashes which she suspects were caused by bedbugs. She spoke of harsh treatment and said she had been sitting for long periods on hard surfaces.”
“Another detainee reportedly told another embassy that they had seen her [Thunberg] being forced to hold flags while pictures were taken. She wondered whether images of her had been distributed,” the Swedish ministry’s official added.
She got arrested and there might be some questionable treatment. That’s a far cry from doing “everything imaginable to her”. Quoting another flotilla member in your post who is obviously exaggerating is a bit disingenuous.
“I don’t disagree that she’s been treated inhumanely after capture while on an errand of mercy, but she hasn’t been subjected to literally every war crime” isn’t the gotcha you think it is.
Those Zionist boots must taste reeeeally good…
You clearly have no idea about the evil that is Mossad, and what they are capable of. I have no doubt Mossad is involved in this, Thunberg is way to high profile for them not to be involved.
It is very clear from what we know now and you even quoted yourself, that Thunberg is being actively tortured, Mossad is just doing it in ways that don’t sound exactly as torture, but more like some rough handling. But it is in fact torture, and I have no doubt this will be concluded soon by experts too.“There might be some questionable treatment”, wow do you think? Something tells me you’re just fine with it though!
Man I’m thinking the same thing. Like brother have you not read a history book before?
not sure why you get downvoted. that behavour is obviously bad and wrong but that choice of words is objectively an exaggeration.
Oh definitely, but “questionable treatment” goes too far in the other direction. She suffered physical and mental abuse and humiliation, not “some questionable treatment.” If she was a POW this would’ve been a war crime.
yes, you’re right about that.
