I think this person saw “jihadist terrorist” and understood that to mean Hamas or PIJ rather than ISIS and Al Qaeda, which is more the article’s intention.

Israel and Trump have the same end goal of turning Gaza into free real estate so unless the Arab states make enough noise I don’t think they’ll object too much.
Okay I did not know that; that’s great. I’m rooting for y’all for all that’s worth.
“It is vindictive, aggressive, and a brutal step to destroy global rules that aim to deliver justice for all,”
Fuck Trump but I’ll be honest: These global rules are not doing their job. I mean wake me up when Netanyahu gets arrested.
Yes, but Al Qaeda’s main immediate focus is on expelling the West (mostly the US) from the Islamic world. In a way they’re revolutionaries while ISIS is an army.
On one hand, fucking finally. On another hand, only 13?
I mean to be fair, it’ll hand both a rallying cry. Both resistance fighters and “let’s bomb some infidels” terrorists don’t like the prospect of an American annexation of Gaza, to put it lightly.
Why though? I mean they are manifest destiny-style settler colonialists who are more interested in getting the land than killing and expelling the people living on it, so while you can only really do the former after you do the latter even I don’t think “there are… Palestinians there!” serves as a rallying cry for them.
That is not, in fact, a rallying cry for Islamists. Fun fact: Even ISIS and Al Qaeda aren’t going around killing infidels abroad for its own sake. Both religiously and practically that’s absolutely moronic. ISIS wants to establish a caliphate led by them, while Al Qaeda attacks the West because it won’t fucking get its nose out of the Middle East. I mean I don’t agree with what they do, but they’re not in it just to kill infidels that’s not how that works.
I’d have preferred they join in a unified front to stand up to Israel, but fair enough.
Okay Trump actually doing a good thing? I did not have that on my bingo card.
What concessions did he give Sheinbaum? I only heard about the Canadian side of this mess.
Crisis? How does that work?
I’m talking more about the absolutely moronic way the campaign was run than the candidates themselves. Harris and Walz themselves were salvageable (sans Gaza, they were genuinely hopeless there) but anyone who was involved in actually running the campaign and deciding the platform is either braindead or a corporate stooge and either way shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near future elections.
Also to answer your question Walz is the “Israel has a right to expand its borders” guy.
I mean let’s be honest with ourselves: Anyone who had any relation with the braindead mess that was the Walz-Harris campaign should be instantly made out of consideration.
But I thought MAGAts liked 'em young.
Yes, but none of them are in Palestine.
Do you mean states aren’t going to be that proactive, so they won’t break away?
I mean if the current style of government continue for like 20 years you’ll start seeing breakaways, but definitely nothing within these four years unless something really dramatic happens. The Democrat-led states are at least as docile as the people living in them, so I can’t imagine them leading a breakaway movement. I mean can you imagine someone like Newsom saying “hell yeah let’s secede”?
It seems you’re mixing your Islamist militants together into one big boogeyman. First ISIS was mostly concerned with gaining territory in Syria and Iraq, and not with planning attacks abroad. That was (and still is) more Al Qaeda’s thing. And then we have to remember that neither of these are related to the Taliban, which are the ones who got the weapons in Afghanistan. And then we have to remember that absolutely none of these are related to Hamas, which is only concerned with Palestine and therefore has Israel as their enemy. Out of these, the only ones who are actively trying to kill Westerners are Al Qaeda. The others all have different goals that put them at odds with America, but they’re not “leaping at a chance to kill Americans”. They have more important things to do.
To some people the genocide overshadows anything else because… Y’know, it is/was a genocide. Telling those people that “it’s not just about the genocide” is, frankly, barking up the wrong tree.
