I remember hearing about him, but for some reason his misdeeds and crimes have fully escaped my memory. Can someone drop me a refresher on what he did exactly?

- allegedly committed identity theft
- allegedly lied to Congress
- reimbursed himself for loans he did not make
- lied about where he went to high school
- … and college… -… and never worked on Wall Street, either
- lied about founding an animal charity
- allegedly swindled a disabled vet whose dog was dying
- may have ripped off an Amish dog breeder with a bad check
- marital status is “it’s complocated” because his stories and bio and marriage licenses don’t add up
- unclear if his mother’s death was related to 9/11 as he claims
- grandmother was definitely not a Holocaust victim
- he did not have employees who died in the Pulse shooting
- niece did not get kidnapped
- “I am Catholic. Because I learned my maternal family had a Jewish background I said I was ‘Jew-ish.’”
- may have been a drag queen in Brazil
- was not on Hannah Montana
- did not have a role in The Invasion with Uma Thurman because she wasn’t in it, and neither was he
- was never a Broadway producer
- was never a journalist in Brazil
- his staff impersonated House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to raise money
- staff racked up huge unexplained expenses and charged them to donor credit cards on file along with payments to “anonymous” and themselves
- was not the target of an assassination

I thought I’d never have to hear about this asshat again, but Trump couldn’t leave it be for some damn reason.
The crimes he pled guilty to are also on the books in New York. I’m honestly a bit surprised that we haven’t heard about his arrest yet.
The problem seems to be that consequences no longer matter. I say that to be a bit extreme, but it might hold to be true.
The NYC mayoral race includes Andrew Cuomo. He felt it nessisarry to resign based on allegations of sexual misconduct. Maybe it was worse than that, probably, but it further proves my point.
You can’t resign and then immediately run again. I guess from a strictly moral level you’re at least being honest this time, but you can’t just admit to things and then move on immediately.

He didn’t admit to anything as far as I know. He resigned because of the optics, the released a “sorry you misinterpreted my actions” type apology. He’s an unrepentant piece of shit.
