Is this the same rule Democrats were reluctant to change under Obama and Biden because they were afraid what Republicans would do with it?
I love all the hand wringing that goes on with this kind of thing. Like the filibuster too, all that fretting but as soon as it no longer serves the GOP goons they will remove it themselves.
The swing back is usually worse though. By doing something unprecedented, you give the opposition permission to go farther than you did.
Except the Democrats never do that
