I grew up in a deeply red area of the country, and at least back in the 80s, I don’t think I ever heard any parents ever taking issue with vaccines, or any kids.
Leave it to Covid, a whole lot of online dipshittery from wingnuts, and algorithms being run by billionaires to politicize even fucking vaccines, something proven to save the lives of children.
It’s a real shame - the Covid vaccine and the underlying tech is the modern-day equivalent of the Manhattan Project or the Space program and it will just never be fully appreciated for what it truly was (and is). Pearls before swine.
