I use Mint, btw. Really.

Funny how Budgie isn’t a choice as DE.
I did, because when you buy a PC, Linux is not installed by default. If it was, I wouldn’t have had to install it for them.
Ever since moving everyone to Linux, I haven’t had to do any IT support. Honestly.
What do you expect from SteamOS 3?
Did you enable Proton for all titles in your Steam settings?
Does this apply to Windows as well? Haha
For Linux to go mainstream is simple. Have Linux be default on every computer sold in stores.
Something like 99% of people who go to a store and buy a laptop, does so because they need a device to access their online bank or watch funny videos on YouTube. Maybe check their mail and open a PDF or two.
My whole family uses Linux Mint and they are normal people.
1. I just installed Linux Mint myself, coming from Nobara and I also had some issues with my NVIDIA GPU, as I also have a laptop with an integrated GPU (AMD) and a dedicated GPU (GeForce 3070ti). The issue was “Secure boot” being enabled in BIOS. It would somehow block the NVIDIA driver from initiating correctly.
If you look in the “NVIDIA settings” app and it look like this:
It means the NVIDIA driver haven’t initiated correctly. See if “Secure boot” is enabled. Disable it.
2. What about the app “Disks”? Doesn’t that do what you need?
Pretty sure I’ve seen the mint leaf used before and the color green is used in the logo and theming.
