It’s a lot less gnarly than ABS and depending on the hardness you get can it can be anything from a pain to a cakewalk to print.

Plus IMO it’s got more uses due to it’s durability.

I still recommend it with a little asterisk:

Funnily enough I’ve had to block the updates for my WiFi card in my Windows PC for years now as if it updates it just does Bluescreen loops until I boot into safe mode with out networking and remove the driver.

It blows.

Good news is that Linux handles that card just fine.

No better time than the present to learn a new skill! Especially with the amount of resources available nowadays.

Personally I’d take picture of each piece from at least 3 sides (top, left, front) all with an object of known size (like a ruler) in frame. Then pick your software (Blender is AWESOME) and faff about and stumble through and learn.

It’s hard at first but the level of satisfaction that comes from learning a new skill is immense.

Hell people still argue about the best version of Windows lol (I miss XP and 7) people will never agree on a single Linux distro

I’m going to second Linux Mint, I installed it on my grandma’s computers recently and she’s had no complaints in the last 6 months.

Other than trying to get her Epson printer to work (which I only found out about this morning because she uses it so little) so I’m going to try to get it to work for her tomorrow.

I did mention that I’d happily buy her a new printer but she’s insisting on keeping her current one. I’m praying I can get it working.
