If being Christian has anything to do with honoring and following the tenets of Jesus of Nazareth as written in the New Testament, there isn’t a single Christian in the Republican party.

They use Jesus like a mask or totem to be on “I win morality” base while almost exclusively advocating inhuman atrocities like destroying families and doing the opposite of everything in their supposed own book they’ve clearly never read.

It’s not like they try but fall short either. This isn’t no true Scotsman, all they do is hate. When is the last time you’ve seen a Republican express love for anyone that wasn’t rooted in angering (hating) their innumerable enemies? Is Jesus not love?

That’s both party’s strategy since Reagan got his former opposition on the take.

Thats what both parties are bribed for.

Stoke social issue wedges and protect our oligarchs grift economy from us.

You can have scapegoating and oligarchal exploitation or affirmation ribbons and oligarchal exploitation. That has been the extent of our voter’s power for half a century.

Im glad the Dems support trans rights, and vote for them as harm reduction, but don’t pretend DNC neoliberal democrats give a shit about a poor Trans person’s right not to die in an underpass of exposure for the crime of being poor as a warning to the other poors.

Nancy Pelosi dedicated the month before Trump was inaugurated to ensuring AOC, a spoiler leftist in a sea of her crony neoliberals, didn’t get an oversight committee seat.

Neoliberals Democrats hate actual leftwing politicians far more than they hate their fascist opposition party. Makes sense, Fascists and neoliberals have the same bosses and take the same bribe checks.

This isn’t class war, this is 50 years of class occupation and counting. Peaceful positive change has been made impossible here on multiple levels by the owners. I put my hope in the other thing, as that’s the only rational place left to put it.

We can have affirmation ribbons and be sucked dry by the oligarchs, or we can have scapegoating and be sucked dry by the oligarchs, that is the extent of our “freedom.” Reagan and Kemp saw to that by getting their former opposition on the take.
