Donald Trump told a Florida crowd that it is “treasonous” to say the US is not winning the war in Iran. The US president was speaking at The Villages in Florida, the world’s largest retirement community, when he made the remarks. Trump came to tout supposedly fulfilling his 2024 campaign promise to remove taxes on Social Security. It came after the president told Congress that the war in Iran had already ended, despite his earlier issuing a fresh threat to Tehran.
Republicans continuing their quest to dilute the impact and meaning of the word treason.
Much like Israel diluting the meaning of antisemitic. Fascist dictatorships tend to do that.
They can try, but we don’t have to accept their bullshit rationalizations or excuses or lies, like our Democratic leaders have in the past. These psychopaths think they can make something true just by saying it, no matter how outlandish, but the Dems are the ones who make it true by accepting it.
Stop that. Call them out for their nonsense. When Trump does something like thinking he’s buying another 60 days without Congressional approval for his war, because he “declared” the end of military operations, then Threatened to bomb the shit out of them a few hours later, it’s the Dems who decide if they are going to grant him his wish, and they always do.
Just Say No. And then start arresting MAGAs who don’t comply.
