Oh, like “slaves, obey your masters”?

That said, I stand by my point. The Bible is explicitly pro slavery. The Old Testament gives instructions on how to beat your slaves. Jesus said he didn’t come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it.

Jesus and his disciples were steeped in a culture built around slave labor, and he never once bothered to say “hey guys, maybe don’t do that”
