The Trump administration’s deportation program has divided Americans in recent months, marked by consistently strong backing from Republicans and MAGA Republicans, in particular, and less so among others. Earlier in Trump’s term, it had larger majority approval, but since mid-summer, the program has hovered around more even division. Its approval is a bit higher today than last month.

That’s the takeaway? That they shouldn’t wear masks?

    Holy fuck we are lost.

Keep in mind these questions are always being asked through the lense of neoliberal media organizations, so like, baked into the questions are the tacit assumptions that the current system should exist at all.

most feel ICE shouldn’t wear masks

Some of us feel ice should not exist and those affiliated with it should be tried for their crimes.

Imagine - being against other people wearing masks for matters of health (the cons spent how much time bitching about not only mask mandates for themselves, but seeing others wearing them - usually the anecdote was about seeing people wearing them alone in cars. Obviously, the implication is that they are cucks and pussies afraid of their shadow as much as they are of a virus that is “just like the flu”, unlike the manly conservative telling the story. Or they’d whine endlessly about how they cannot understand someone wearing a mask), but being for them wearing them for fascism.

I really have to just shake my head at the conservative mind…

A majority of Americans think Trump’s policies are bringing migrant crossings at U.S-Mexico border down.

Yeah turn your country into a fascist shithole and no one wants to come anymore. A lot of Americans don’t want to live there anymore either. Well done.

I’m of the opinion ice shouldn’t have heads to wear masks on, you know, applying the time tested solution to Nazi’s and all by helping them fulfill their only helpful destiny in life, fertilizing the earth.

They shouldn’t have guns. If a suspect has a record of violence then get the local police or FBI to subdue them. After that it’s just transportation.
