U.S. Rep Thomas Massie (R-KY) recently celebrated Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s decision to reject a deal from the Trump administration, leading to a public dispute with Stephen Miller.

Trump adviser Stephen Miller chimed in on that post, writing, “MIT is a federally funded and financed institution. The US government asked MIT, as one of America’s largest recipients of taxpayer dollars, to certify that students and professors will be hired based on objective merit and not skin color.”

“Undergrad tuition is privately funded at MIT with a few exceptions like Pell grants which apply to all colleges,” Massie wrote. “I trust MIT more than any party at the White House to know which 18 yr olds can solve differential equations. Also, Feds policing speech on campuses is Orwellian.”

I appreciate a GOP congressman standing up.

I would appreciate it more if he stood up against all the other awful shit the Trump admin does.

Ok, then vote accordingly. What’s that, you’re just gonna roll over like a little bitch and do everything Trump makes you do? Then shut the fuck up.

Stephen Miller is probably the evilest person in politics right now. The Orange Jackass is a malignant narcissist and Noem is a psychopath, but Miller is an unfathomably cruel, soulless husk in a human suit. He’s the most evil freak in the 9th Circle of Hell that makes even Lucifer uncomfortable.

He is a cartoonishly villainous figure that stands out even in the crowd of villains in the White House, and he is apparently puppeting the presidency, the attorney general, and the DHS, at least, if not more. Just watched the Some More News deep dive on him and he’s apparently been a slimy racist entitled fuck since childhood.

Something was definitely broken in him, gives off huge Randall Flagg vibes. I bet he has quite a few skeletons tbh. It’s pretty rare to be that fucked up since you were little/born.

          Here’s an AI summary.

          Key details from the excerpt

The dog's behavior: Noem wrote that Cricket, a wire-haired pointer, had an "aggressive personality" and was "untrainable". She described taking the dog on a pheasant hunt, where Cricket became overly excited and ruined the hunt.

The chicken attack: On the way home, Noem stopped at a family's home that owned chickens. Cricket jumped out of the truck and attacked and killed some of the chickens.

The decision to shoot: When Noem intervened, the dog bit her. Noem wrote that she "hated that dog" and that it was "dangerous to anyone she came in contact with". She then took the dog to a gravel pit and shot it.

The reasoning: She framed the event as an example of being willing to make "difficult, messy, and ugly" decisions, a point she wanted to illustrate to readers.

The goat: In the same episode, Noem also shot and killed one of her family's goats, which she described as "nasty and mean" and given to chasing her children. She shot the goat twice after the first shot missed.

The south park episode makes so much sense now lol. The goat was obviously, “dangerous to anyone she came in contact with”.

Of course, the modern day Hardy boys (Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie) are the tag team carrying this out. So, it appears Peter Thiel’s coup to oust Miller has officially begun (finger crossed).

While I will be very glad to see him go, just a quick reminder that Thiel never gets rid of somebody before he’s used them to accomplish something that he needed done, but didn’t want associated with himself. Or, until he has somebody else lined up to replace them.

I would guess what he needed Miller to accomplish and be the face of, is the National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, which potentially makes any opposition to Trump or the GOP, a crime of domestic terrorism.

If Massie truly feels this way about MIT, you might think he would also argue that the memo is a bit “Orwellian,” but arguing that also probably earns you a spot on the list for commiting a thought crime.

While just about everyone will be glad to see Miller leave, (even moreso than Musk), just remember, he doesn’t take the authoritarian policy he’s already put in place with him.

They need to report when it’s not Massie. He’s the ideological libertarian that’s less shit than Rand. It’s expected to see our Junkyard Wars star break from ranks when there’s no threat or risk to the policy.

    I’ve got doomscroll burnout.
I just expect current events I read to confirm the ongoing downfall of humanity.
I know this article doesn’t mean that much in the greater scope of things.
But its the first time in a while I can recall reading about people in government acting somewhat normal.

… Well, not their normal. My normal. Which is apparently constructed from unrealistic expectations, so I don’t see it much.

It’s like “no raindrop is responsible for the flood”, but the rainstorm is all the right wingers. No one thing is the defining moment (other than trump getting re-elected), it’s just a flood of bullshit that destroys everything.

Same. Want to all get together and work out some solution on how to stop feeling exhausted and start feeling awake?

Some kind of gathering to make sure people “woke up”.

I’m going to try to make friends on No Kings day this coming saturday

and I’m always down to discuss things here. I feel like we’re told that we have to have an opinion about everything… that’s exhausting. I’m trying to protect myself by NOT doing that. Lots of rubbish in the news. I don’t want to get angry about new material if I can help it. What’s your strategy

I’ll be at no kings for sure. Idk beyond that. I might try to put a group of friends together to show up at city and county council meetings and try to put pressure on them to address all the bullshit going on.

Miller is so getting clobbered by the fascist machine as soon as he’s played his role…
