That’s really the problem. There weren’t enough interested people during the election and they STILL are mostly checked out.
It’s really depressing just knowing you’re at the mercy of the ignorant and the apathetic because they just clearly outnumber everyone who sees all this for what it really is.

Should open every morning’s broadcast with a Soviet style patriotic bellowing of the national anthem, complete with happy farmhands slinging hay with pitchforks as they sing along!
I don’t know about starting the broadcast (I’m not a morning person), but I know one of my local TV stations used to end the broadcast at night by playing the state song before going off air. I used to see it sometimes if I dozed off and left the TV on for an hour or so after the midnight Deep Space Nine rerun.
