I’m not comfortable saying AOC or any other woman is a non-starter because other women have failed. A lot of people have failed before and at some point perhaps one will be selected. I think she would be a good choice, and more appealing to many than Kamala, I suspect.

I haven’t experienced that in the many years I’ve lived here. It is a humble group of people, seems to me. They also have tons of love for the other Scandinavian countries. You paint a picture of stuck up nationalists, and that’s pretty far from the truth.

I feel it might be precisely the opposite of that. The left constantly capitulates and tries to play nice. Always forgiving and taking the high road. Fuck that. The “species can’t interbreed” thing is pretty antiquated. Many heard it decades ago and have just been repeating it like a mantra, in spite of the fact that modern biology has shown countless exceptions to this. It is an integral part of the taxonomy we know currently. There are rarely clean, orthogonal lines in nature and speciation isn’t one of them.

Yes sort of. The UCMJ requires only that one obey “lawful” orders. However, what constitutes unlawful is like everything else in law, difficult to say rigorously. It is a risk for troops to disobey. A risk, nevertheless, worth taking in some cases.
