i mean, isn’t their whole argument that capitalism will do a much better job at innovation and progress so there is really no reason for the government to fund research.

they should get rid of NASA too, while they’re at it. let the private market (elon’s own spacex) fund their research.

republicans have been supporting the ukraine invasion since day 1, so i doubt it.
