But if you interpret all the jokes as “things he wants to do”? Probably pretty good odds

So, I changed my daily driver to linux several months ago and my gf a few weeks ago.
…
So, I changed […] my gf a few weeks ago.
How’s the new girlfriend?

I look closely at labels and quantities, etc…but I also look at quality, made-in-my-country-ness, etc.
I don’t need anybody to buy my groceries. I might even politely decline because someone could use it more.
The other signs sound spot-on, though.

Colombian killed
Usually, sentences go noun-verb. So who did this Columbian kill?
Colombian killed in U.S.
Oh, a Columbian was killed. In the US, of all places! What happened?
Colombian killed in U.S. strike
Oh, weird. I wonder what kind of strike (maybe the government shutdown?) resulted in this Columbian getting killed.
Colombian killed in U.S. strike was on a fishing trip,
Oh, that doesn’t make sense that there’d be a strike in the same place as a fishing trip. Wait, was he not in the US at all?

Make Headlines Have Propositions/Articles Again! (or whatever grammatical components are necessary to make headlines easier to parse; less garden path-y)
Colombian WHO WAS killed in A U.S. [MILITARY?] strike was on a fishing trip, wife claims

But voting for Kamala would be bad for Palestine! Not voting was the only way to save Palestine! /s

God is doing lots of cruel acts, isn’t he?

I wish headlines (and journalists in general) wouldn’t be so afraid about repeating words and names.
My first question was “Which streamer?”, and now I’m thinking they probably just didn’t want to use the name “Spotify” twice.
I’ve been noticing this trend over the last few years. They also seem to be using pronouns less.
Gaming journalists will write about Mario and say something like…
“Super Mario Odyssey is the newest Mario game where the red-hatted plumber takes on Bowser! The Nintendo superstar has all kinds of new abilities, and the mushroom-chomping, goomba-stomping hero even has a new friend!”
It just makes things annoying to read, imo

I wish they would just admit it. If you have to lie about what’s upsetting you, you should realize your reasoning for being upset is probably BS.

From another reply:
Yeah, I know. I should’ve made it more clear that I was attempting to get into their misinformed heads.
They don’t know that he’s American, but they’re not even consistent. There have been non-American performances at the Superbowl before, so I don’t even know what the complaint is supposed to be.

What’s the complaint? That it’s not an American performing?
The Who performed at the Superbowl before. They’re not American…
EDIT: Yes, I know he’s American. I’m trying to understand what these misinformed people are claiming to be upset about. They’re not even consistent, which suggests that they’re BSing about their reason.

I’m not seeing it. I think what we’re seeing is the video trying to match an art style that is highly “over manufactured”, which AI can look like as well.
I think it’s kind of like Botox in video form.

Hmm…I didn’t downvote you, but I don’t think that’s designed to look like AI. I’m not well-versed enough in film to suggest what look they are going for though.

What are the filters to make it look like AI? I’m not sure what that means. When I hear “looks like AI”, I imagine “has 7 fingers per hand, inconsistent art styles, and has really weird things when you look closely at the details”
Let’s be fair. Another pathway is to be born to Republican parents and to never question anything they tell you

I didn’t know about that, but there is a Sesame Street song from…the 80s? About the same thing. Sung by a relative of Oscar the Grouch, I think

Media around the world has been filled with political commentaries from Trump. They’re just mixing it up with the kind of loser

They wanted the ability to maintain their social stances through the business. They put it in the contract.
According to Jerry, the contract isn’t being honoured.
…I imagine, according to Jerry’s lawyer, it’s just barely being honoured by the legal definition.
84 is pretty much the average life expectancy for a man in the US, isn’t it? Or at least for wealthy men in the US.
