Ukrainian AA can’t reach these bombers because these were used as launching platforms for long range missiles over Caspian, relocating SAM sites does nothing. Also it’s likely that what was hit were good planes, some of which were even fitted with Kh-101 cruise missiles at the time of attack, and part of what is left are planes under maintenance. It could be so that only third or less of long range bombers are usable now, which would most obviously increase wear on them in immediate future
both of them are cryptobros

ai can’t generate anything that is not averaged dogshit made by grinding every political cartoon to pixels and compressing it to paste. it categorically can’t generate caricatures, for example. it also shows a degree of creativity and familiarity with literature unlikely in average propmptfan. and also text is legible
ai could never make this

for more context, the boring liberal mayor got just north of 30%; the fuckass nobody pulled from depths of conservative party apparatus couple of months ago got just south of 30%; there’s 21% split between two far right fuckers, one conspiracy friendly, catholic extremist (6%) and one that pretends to not be (15%); 10% split between three socdems; 5% for former “got talent” host targeting the mythical swing voter; and 2% split between some random weirdos, 1.2% of which goes to a streamer

These are mostly combustion byproducts btw. Mercury emissions come from coal fired powerplants, PCBs are an old and long discontinued type of nonflammable coolant, HCB also isn’t even manufactured probably
I mean, they have to make new republicans somehow
wtf leaded gasoline is back too? (there are very few other uses for alkyllead compounds and it would be hard to make it accidentally)

death of millions for profit - solid business practice, congratulations and see you again at next shareholder meeting
I’m with the old man on this one. Antibodies can clear out amyloid and still it has no effect on progression of disease, amyloid secretion can be blocked upstream (like with small molecule protease inhibitors) and it still has no effect. Maybe this one hits something off-target, or maybe that effect is not even real, or maybe it’s some sort of statistical artifact. You’d stumble upon some false positive after trying so many times.
Aducanumab is dead in the water, trials shown no effect and it was abandoned by Biogen. This one is about lecanemab. Both have massive problems with brain edema and microhemorrages, which probably means these are not suitable for actual use. But don’t worry, they already have received their reward - FDA wanted to have something, anything to show up for Alzheimer and Biogen cashed in when stock price went up
think cold fusion, or EmDrive, or string theory
That’s a weird set - cold fusion or EmDrive can be tested and their physical principles are falsifiable - and they were - but string theory is different, because it’s not falsifiable.
If it’s marginally but truly effective,
That if makes some mighty heavy lifting here. I think that amyloid hypothesis is closer to cold fusion than to string theory in that it had already a couple of fatal experimental refutations thrown at it, but people still shove effort this way because there’s nothing else/copium/sunk cost combination
