While we can’t definitively say he’s a Nazi, he obviously at the very least makes poorly-informed decisions - definitely not good leadership material.
Since I invariably wind up getting “name suits” types of comments, here’s the explanation behind it:
Around the turn of the millennium, I was trying to come up with a username to use on a particular site that had a shortish character count limit for usernames. My goal was something related to the fact that I would often be making my points in arguments with “holier-than-thou” types by taking what they were saying, and turning it on its head so the offensive stuff was directed back at them.
I also happened to learn shortly beforehand that many years ago “'ape” was somewhat commonly used as a verb to mean “imitate” or “copy.”
I’m sure you can figure the rest out.

While we can’t definitively say he’s a Nazi, he obviously at the very least makes poorly-informed decisions - definitely not good leadership material.

Trump’s made a million “good thing” promises.
This dude is obviously prone to making either bad, and/or - at the very least - poorly-informed choices. Not the qualities of a good leader.

But that means he’s not a smart person. That, along with the fact he is obviously prone to making poorly-informed decisions would give me serious pause about voting for him. Those are not the qualities of a good leader.

I can’t say definitively that he’s a Nazi, but I have to agree that at the very least he obviously makes very poorly informed decisions - that alone makes him a bad choice for a leader in my book.

Which is precisely why China’s quickly taking the world leadership title away from the US.

Yep. The human race is fucked. Because it chooses to fuck itself without bothering to learn the ramifications of its choices first. By the time they are forced to understand it, it’s far too late to change course.
I’m so sick of humans.

This is the source article they worked from. It was linked to via the author’s name, but it wasn’t hard to miss if you weren’t looking for it.

Trump’s sycophants truly can’t think anything through, can they? It’s no wonder he surrounds himself with them - they’re incapable of showing him up.

Honestly, no - not in a direct fight. The wolves will eat whole-hog anyone with actual concern for other people. The quickest & most effective way to win against them, IMHO, is to let them have the power they want over their own base, and let that base see for themselves how the right feasts upon others indiscriminately - including upon on its own. Get out of the way as much as you can, and watch them self-destruct.
Unfortunately, there’ll be a fuck-ton of damage left behind in their wake, but that’s gonna happen anyway. The only way to minimize that is to take their bait, and flight what they’re doing. That’s going to drag things out much longer, and only has a moderate chance of avoiding the significant damage anyway.
Yeah, I’m cynical AF, but can you really blame me?

Because - despite what they usually claim - their supporters don’t actually care about what’s right, but only whatever will enrich themselves and/or give them more power (which indirectly leads to financial benefits). Most of them are lying, manipulative scum with the self-awareness of a pebble, and the empathy of a shark that hasn’t eaten in several weeks.

You’re kidding, right? Since when has anyone worth even just a tenth of that faced consequences for anything?!?

Still too modern. Try NetBSD.

There’s a YUUGGGEEEE difference, tho: Ellison has NEVER been liked by the public at large. His riches never depended upon people liking him.

Trump’s just a (slightly out of control) puppet of the Heritage Foundation. Unless one of them puts a target on Ellison, that’s rather unlikely except by accident - which I’ll admit Trump’s had a lot of.

Please link to sources when throwing around claims like that. I don’t doubt you, but some will & they need to see it for themselves. Plus there’s the issue of how old that information is - anything like that which doesn’t have relatively recent evidence can be too easily dismissed as “outdated notions.”

Okay, pants-shitter is a bit unfair - we’re almost all likely going to start having bodily malfunctions by that age.
But the rest? Hear, hear!

Unlike in the past, there are a million and one ways to avoid reality nowadays (heck, I’m doing so by spending time here). That, and the fact the bulk of the angry gun-owning types are on the MAGAt side of the isle. This crash is going to be like none before, so it’s impossible to make predictions (beyond any obvious ones) on what will happen.

Well, that’s shitty…
Even if he had changed, his record of poorly-informed decision making makes him a bad choice to be a leader.
