“Do good around the world” by creating a fake social media app to sow civil unrest in Cuba? We’ve got different ideas of “good,” I think.

I would’ve given kudos to Bush, Obama, Trump(1), or Biden if they did this. The only one calling this a “genius move” is you, it’s just logical.
America should not be the world police. We never should’ve been in the international situation we are now. A literally uncountable amount of money spend over the past few decades for what? American poverty is higher than ever, our infrastructure is worse than ever, and American perception abroad is worse than ever. All this dispite bankrupting ourselves to help countries that don’t like us and topple regimes that we don’t like. Humanitarianism.
“Soft power,” fuck off, I don’t want hundreds of billions of black dollars being spent to undermine the sovereignty and merit of foreign countries.
Broken clock. This should’ve happened several presidents ago. It’s a shame that Trump will get credit for maybe the best foreign policy decision in modern US politics
Please try testing your hypothesis at the Korean DMZ
The US literally accepts thousands of undocumented non-Americans every single day
My hometown lol. Swing by Pal’s and get a Dr. Enuf and cheddar rounds for me
AVL is great, if not worsening and getting outrageously expensive these days. TBH I don’t even live in Asheville proper anymore, I actually like not paying $2k per month for rent. I’ve got my eyes set on Detroit in the next year or two.
Firestorm is the anarchist bookstore, no? I’ve not been but it’s been on my radar for years. Might have to check it out this weekend now that you’ve reminded me.
Agreed neighbor. Swing by Asheville sometime if you’re from NET (TN refugee here)
I mean the election polling. Where she underperformed worse than most people thought, which exit polls showed her biggest criticisms came from being confused by her policies.
That’s part of why Harris polled so low. They had so many angles of attack that they tried to go with all of them instead of focusing on one or two serious differences and biting into it. The campaign looked unfocused and superficial.
Affordability is what Dems need to focus on in 28’ and they need to start that messaging now. Drop the IdPol talk, it’s not working. Things are going to get worse for people’s pocketbook, MAGA is going to say it’s from the Dems in Congress/Govorners/etc. and the Democratic Party needs a counter to that.
Or Snowden.
But don’t worry, Hunter Biden is free to smoke crack without worry once again!
Both shams when we know that the DNC picks their favorite from day one and works with the media to form their narrative. 90% of voters are just looking to be told who to vote for.
Look no further than Kamala. Right up until 21 July, when Biden was facing calls to resign by rank and file Dems every day, we were getting puff piece after puff piece that “Biden still polls better than Kamala Harris,” “Biden is still the best possible candidate.” Well, Biden eventually caved and literally overnight Harris became not only the real best chance, but actually was looking really good. Nothing about her changed. None of her policies changed overnight. The only thing that changed was that she was now the status quo choice and therefore “safe” for the MSM to endorse.
“Forced out.” welcome to a primary, Biden. Functional parties have them.
Bipartisan means both sides supported it. He probably signed it because he actually supported it
I hate Biden too but the ban had bipartisan support and should be one of his accomplishments
Hard hitting journalism here.
And on the brink of unchecked corruption at all levels of government, we bring you weather
Two phrases for the same thing.
The handful of well-intentioned docs are the exception, not the rule.
The Opioid Crisis might’ve started from Purdue Pharmaceuticals, but it was carried out by rank-and-file doctors who gladly attended those “all expenses paid” seminars (in Hawaii) and ignored/gaslit victims for years once reports of how destructive the prescription were.
In my eyes, members of the Medical Cartel of America have two primary goals: wealth and prestige. The whole “helping people” thing is just a pill they have to swallow (heh) to achieve them.
