  • Think back to when Russia was supposed to just roll over Ukraine in a matter of days and consider how years later they are still cowardly attacking civilian targets trying to break the will of this tiny country.

Part of the reason why is because Putin didn’t get realistic reports about the capability of the Russian military because no one wanted to share bad news with him. Also, everyone in the Russian government is only concerned with their own personal enrichment, so they are robbing the country blind.

So consider that and think about what President Pedophile is doing to The US.

  • Her husband, Jim Brown, a US citizen and military veteran, told reporters his wife was not a criminal and that he “100%” regretted voting for Donald Trump as president.

Fuck you, Jim Brown, you selfish, inhuman piece of shit. You were fine voting for fascism when you thought you’d benefit. Now that it affects you and you find out you’re just as worthless to them as everyone else suddenly you have regrets.

There was a reporter talking to him. Does it occur to the reporters to dig deeper into the regret? Maybe point out that he was fine with this until it affected people he cared about? Maybe ask him if it would perhaps make sense to treat everyone like they are human beings instead of only the people in your family?

  • While that’s all true, I think it’s a worthwhile exercise to examine if the number of people being shot for ringing a doorbell or turning around in someone’s driveway has experienced a statistically significant increase over the number of instances 40 years ago*.

It could be argued that the media (and the fascist scum running the country) blasting stories about made-up or exaggerated crime are directly responsible for any increase in insanity by chicken-shit gun-fetishists.

    * Of course, you’d also need to factor in the reality that 40 years ago, in some areas you could murder someone for ringing your doorbell, and depending on the skin tones involved it might not even be reported.

  • Exactly. They don’t want to go back to a time when you could be happy, healthy, and raise a family.

They want to go all the way past those times to Antebellum America, when there were no Federal income taxes (US government raised most of it’s funding from things like tariffs…sound familiar?), when kids died from diseases that we’ve since been able to prevent with vaccines, and when you had to have the kids that survived work the mines to keep the family from starving.

They wish they was in the land of cotton.

  • Just make it the responsibility of the companies providing the service to stop it.

Pass a law stating that if you’ve added your phone number to the do-not-call list, and you receive a call you did not want, your carrier has to pay you $50. For each call.

Give them time, say five years, to correct the flaws in their systems. Allow them to pass the charge for any calls that get through onto the carrier who connected the caller to their network, who would presumably pass the charge on until it got to the customer that made the call.

Heck, even when it’s implemented, throw them a bone. The customer has to show it’s an ongoing issue by identifying more than one call in a week.

I’d be making a few hundred dollars a week from my personal cell phone. Over a thousand a day from my work phone.

Soon, they’d find a way to make it impossible to spoof a number. Companies would probably stop selling burner phones. Phone companies that make money by providing service to scam call centers would quickly cease to exist. New companies would have to prove that they are managing their customers correctly or they’d never be permitted to connect to the other carriers.

  • The failure of the attempt to remove Andrew Johnson after Lincoln’s assassination.

Johnson believed in white supremacy, and he was lenient towards the southern ruling class to keep them in power so that they would suppress the freed slaves*. Leaving the southern elites in power ruined the only chance the U.S. had to overcome the taint of slavery and racism.

    Think of the difference:

The traitors from the first civil war may have actually faced consequences for their attempt to destroy the nation in order to keep people enslaved.

A president actually being removed via impeachment would have made the presidency less secure which may have either discouraged some of the behavior presidents have engaged in, or it may have been more likely to have resulted in them being held accountable (of course, I’m thinking of Nixon, Clinton, and Trump).
