Someone knew there was a drug test and flooded the office with Poppy so they wouldn’t get caught.
Unfortunately, ballot initiatives are literally not a thing in Texas. The change would have to come from either the Texas legislature itself or a sweeping law at the national level. Good fucking luck with either of those solutions.
Why did they put quotation marks around Arab? It sounds like they’re doubting the people were actually Arab. Looks real gross.
Edit: should really read articles before posting. The quotes are a critique of the study as far as I can tell. The study refers to Palestinians living in Israel as “Arabs”. If the study doesn’t properly identify the individuals it’s researching I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of the results.
Everybody is saying this is politically motivated and I don’t really think I buy that. Not ruling out the possibility entirely, though. Anything is possible but the logic just doesn’t work out to me.
First, CBS paid Trump. Trump didn’t pay them. They already capitulated by paying him off. Why would they capitulate further by getting rid of the most popular late night program if it was profitable?
Second, if this was political why are they keeping the show on until May of next year? Wouldn’t trump want them to cancel it sooner?
Third, they’re canceling the late show entirely. If they were canceling it to get someone critical of trump out of there why wouldn’t they just replace colbert with someone more favorable to him?
Fourth, these shows have had declining ratings for years now and the writing has been on the wall for a long time that these shows were not going to be able to hang around for forever in today’s streaming climate. I think more cancelation announcements are likely.
As much as I hate trump and wouldn’t put something like this past him I really don’t think it’s likely that this has anything to do with him. Doing this for money reasons is fully in line with how terrible capitalism is for art and I can absolutely believe that this was some dumbfuck accounting decision.
‘Could’ is doing a whole lot of heavy lifting there.
I’ve been kinda wanting the progressives to split off from dems for a while now but honestly the shitty dems splitting off from progressives is probably better. Let the people that actually want to do right by their constituents keep the democratic party. All those “center left” people can go create their bullshit third party and fuck off. You won’t hear me complain.
The idea that he doesn’t know how to properly use his own social media platform is honestly hilarious.
“Y’know, Barrack kinda looked sharp in that tan suit.”

People are still trying to push this nonsense that democratic candidates need to appeal to the objectively dumbest people in this country in order to be a viable candidate. Its ridiculous. Red voters are only ever going to vote red. They always have and they always will. Left leaning people in this country outnumber right leaning people by a wide margin (because reality has a left leaning bias). The issue is that dem individuals often just don’t vote when a candidate is put forward who is cowtowing to the right. The right still votes right and the left doesn’t vote. Then we get what we have now. If dems put forward a politician that progressive voters actually want they’ll have a much better chance. And AOC is probably a more well liked dem politician right now (among the left) than anyone else except maybe Bernie. But he’s probably too old at this point. So AOC makes the most sense right now to me and probably anyone else with a brain.
If I’m understanding correctly there’s two books being removed. And the Smithsonian is saying the loan agreement with the owner of the books, Rev. Brown, expires in May. So they’re returning them to him to rotate in new exhibits per regular operating procedure. If that’s true I don’t really understand the issue here. Rev. Brown seems to be under the impression that they’re removing the items because of Trump’s order. But he, at least in this article, doesn’t even address the Smithsonian’s explanation so I don’t really know what’s going on here. But it really doesn’t seem like this is because of Trump’s policy. If it was why would they just be removing these two books and nothing else?
Then Elon is going to tweet out some nonsense misrepresenting the report just like he did with their report they put out last September showing mishandled government spending to the tune of 2.3 trillion dollars between 2003 and 2023. (He first lied and said doge found the mishandled payments when they didn’t. And also said the full 2.3 trillion were Medicaid payments to individuals outside the US. Which was just a blatant fabrication)
This is only “baffling” if you’re a total fucking moron who hasn’t been paying attention.
Until I can run special K or RTX HDR to inject HDR into games that don’t support it I’m not going to switch to Linux on my main gaming PC. Its hooked up to my Nice OLED TV in my living room and games look too damn good with HDR to give that up for Linux. Yes I know HDR works on Linux now. But it only works with games that support HDR and the only “Auto HDR” solution I’ve found is a janky reshade plugin that only works with dx11 games and doesn’t really produce very good results. I’m really holding out hope that valve figures out a nice auto HDR solution they can build into gamescope.
Eh I see the point you’re making but cartels in Mexico are a whole other breed to what’s here in the US. Our politicians aren’t being murdered in droves by cartels like they are in Mexico.
Hey man, there’s no need to lump the taint lickers in with this guy.
He can’t just “do it anyway” if people refuse to comply with his orders and the courts refuse to back him up. What do you think Trump is going to do? Walk over to somebody’s desk, pick them up out of their chair, and physically throw them out the building himself?
“We got rid of the lidar sensors on our cars because they weren’t needed. Instead we zip tied some gopros to the front. Trust me. They’re just as good. You definitely won’t die.”
I’m a 32 year old man with a receeding hairline. I too see OnlyFans as an appealing alternative to traditional work. Unfortunately no one else wants to see that.
