I also started to suspect my PSU, because EVGA 650 n1 is a notorious to be a bad PSU(I only found out after quite a long time after I bought it). The problem is my GPU is also second-hand so I am not sure rn TBH.
I need some light

Hi I thank you for the information, I will try reverse version of some firmware and LTS kernel to see if the issue is still persisted.

Hi ty, for the comment, I don’t have IGPU though, so I don’t think it is my issue.

I run it on vulkan with llama-cpp

Hi when I run AI model it will crash when the GPU temp is around 82C for more than a few seconds, is that because of temp, or the GPU is defective? For the other info you asked I use arch, I am on kernel 6.17.3.arch2-1and mesa 1:25.2.4-2
rm -rf / in UEFI system, no more return.

I think the main reason why it do not suck it because bazar is made to target flatpak, while other app center is dealing with native packages too.
Fully Automatic Update Against Your Will.
Yes it is true. It have insecure sandbox but in your case it seem like you still use vanadium, if you only use Firefox for known website for the webapp. The insecure sandbox is not that big of a deal anymore. Still from a pure security point, Firefox is not great.
If you don’t mind hardening firefox on android. You can try Firefox with uBlock. It give some small advantage compared to Brave like more filters list from uBlock, the element picker thing, and no brave, etc. The performance can be questionable though.
Fennec and Cromite is always outdated compared to their upstream. If you care about security it is quite problematic. I recommend just install UBlock on Firefox then use Arkenfox, or Betterfox on it. It is a bit more complex to do on android, but it is possible. If anyone is interested here is a tutorial
I’ve switched from Librewolf to Zen for a few months now, and it’s been great so far. There is all the fun features like the essentials tab, and the tab groups. Also Zen Mods is super cool. It is like a repo of css mods for zen.
There was some controversy about the debug thing, but as others pointed out, it happened during the alpha phase, when the development team is still new to the project.
For hardening, you can use Arkenfox, Betterfox, or Phoenix. All of these work on Zen (I’ve tried them all). Librewolf is based on Arkenfox, so if you use it, you’ll get most of Librewolf’s privacy features. I recommend Arkenfox. Personally, I believe Betterfox is a balance take between privacy and usability, while Phoenix is the most extreme option. Arkenfox offers stronger privacy features than Betterfox but is not as extreme as Phoenix.
Edits: also don’t forget uBlock :)
I guess this is the fun of living on the bleeding edge side.
Hi, I update today when I just wake up(it is my routine at this point). I am using Linux 6.15.8-zen1-1-zen. My kernel is the same pre/post because there isn’t kernel update today.
Ty, I fixed it. Turn out the issue was related to btrfs issue with newer kernel version.
Sure, thankyou!
Thank, I will look at it!
This is the painful part I don’t know why my fstab is nuked. It is completely empty. I am writing it rn and it is painful. I have a question to ask tho. After I finish writing it what do I do? Do I reboot?
Edit: Okay after I finish the fstab I do mount -a it did not work. ;). I am not sure if what I did is good though. I just copy fstab of a new installation of arch on my laptop and change the UUID
My PSU is one year old, 650w(EVGA 650 N1. The problem is there seem to be a lot of criticism towards it.(people said it is really bad) etc.
