Fuck that.
She’s not some smug hypocrite getting her comeuppance - if anyone gets a pass for believing those files might finally come out, it’s her.

The tech people are smart. Technically smart.
No they’re not. They’re mostly CEOs. Their main skills are bullshitting, delegating and taking the fall when things go wrong. And they aren’t very good at the last one.

And discouragingly, most atheists would love for you to believe that the world would be no better off if they actually believed in and followed the teachings of Jesus.
What a shallow caricature. I’ve never met an atheist who didn’t basically agree with the teachings of Jesus, even if they didn’t believe he existed. But I’ve met many Christians who seemed completely at odds with them.

How do we actually make him pay for this?
You don’t. He’s never had to face any consequences for doing the shit he does, why would that start now?

I don’t understand how the so called SAVE act isn’t a constitutional states rights nightmare:
Why does that matter? I’m not from the US, but my impression is that the procedure is more or less:
So you don’t need a law to be constitutional as long as it’s only supposed to be used for a short time, right? In this case, one election.

I don’t really understand these things. Conscription is a barbaric practice, how is “draft dodger” still an insult nowadays? Obviously conscientious objection is the higher road to take, but when your government is trying to force you to kill - and quite possibly die - for them, any response is more moral than just going along with it, imo.
Anyway Trump would obviously win, he’d cheat.

Wow, he’s going to shit himself when he finds out how bad shooting people in the head looks.

The work is its own reward.

Modern is cheerleading as a sport, with competitions, leagues, professional predators, trophies. etc.
Conventional cheerleading is just doing it to cheer on a team.

As an Australian, may I say, you royally fucked up on that one.
I take exception to that. The law which allowed for the referendum required Royal Assent, but that is the same law which would have allowed for the implementation of preferential voting. It was the statutory repealing of that law where things really went bad.
I would say we statutorily fucked it up.

ICE got paid a 4 year budget upfront, which they are allowed to roll over. So they’re not getting paid, they just have a reserve several times the size of their annual budget.

I think the people of the UK should take a long, hard look at how the situation has evolved in the US and decide if they want to change their system to avoid having only two parties dominate the political climate.
There are currently 5 parties vying for position here, but your point is still generally true. Hopefully with the rise of smaller parties, we might start to see a move towards a more proportional system, but I’m not holding my breath.
Good point, she is very stupid. I can’t imagine much else was happening to distract her during her formative years developing critical thinking, it’s probably just hard wired.
Still, the important thing is that she’s suffering for it now.
