No they don’t. They just have to adopt a culture of euthanasia. I don’t say that to be cruel or indifferent. I assume state assisted programs are in a lot of countries’ futures assuming they can stomach it. It’s not something I’m advocating for. I just think the rich are cold enough to push it to try to fix the problem.

Yup. I imagine this is exactly what Putin, China, and the rich bilionaires want. I think they’re playing at something the the fall of the USSR but with more of a ‘controlled demolition’ vibe. Oh, we’ll all still get fucked while they power grab.

I remember watching documentaries about Hungary on YouTube back around 2010-2012. We were all worried then that it would happen here. Hungary and (Russia) and how they treated political rivals. That’s when I started voting consistently. Not that it mattered. I used to point to Hungary as an example of what could happen here. The Daily show even talked about them when Trump first came to power in 2016. It was always there but we were always looking elsewhere.

Hungary is much smaller than the US though, even if it is mostly empty, like Russia.
