Was this before or after the “ageeement” with China though?

    Edit: nvm i found it.

The preliminary sentiment reading surveyed consumers from April 22 to May 13, meaning just two days of responses came after the US and China agreed to a 90-day tariff pause.

    Hardly even worth printing then.

Why would a pause instill any more confidence? The ports are already empty, it’ll take weeks to get any new ships here even if they left the moment the pause was announced. Companies aren’t going to be making big purchases with the Dipshit so ready to flip flop constantly on everything he does, including these illegal tariffs.

        People are weird?

        The ports are already empty,

No they aren’t. They’re down some but the aren’t empty. Not all imports come from China. Not all ports have Chinese ships coming to them. Not all Chinese ships stopped.

it’ll take weeks to get any new ships here even if they left the moment the pause was announced.

They’ve already been on the way.
