Donald Trump is interested in calling on Arab countries to pay for the cost of the Iran war, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Monday, adding talks with Tehran to end the conflict are progressing well.
Leavitt, asked at a news briefing whether Arab countries would step up to help pay for the war, said she would not get ahead of the Republican president but that it was an idea that Trump had.
“I think it’s something the President would be quite interested in calling them to do,” Leavitt said.
Saudi Arabia and UAE pushed Trump to attack Iran and continue to do so. FUCK them, they should help pay Iran’s reparations.
That’s not what Trump is asking for, mind you, he’s asking all gulf countries to pay the US for the cost of the war because of the “achievements.” He’s still in denial and thinks he achieved anything… Dubai is about to irrecoverably collapse, so maybe he did achieve something, but they ain’t gonna pay him for it.
Meanwhile Trump is insulting the Saudi king and crown prince and saying they were kissing his ass, and MBS doesn’t have enough spine to even say “how dare you?”, let alone take any meaningful actions.
