I mean just consider the dedication needed to make a pièce de résistance right as the Red Army is almost at the doors, using nothing but the raw concrete walls of the Führerbunker as canvas, his trusty Walther PPK as brush, and his own grey matter as paint… I’d dare say it’s the most consequential piece of art of the 20th and maybe even the 21st century. It’s a shame it was destroyed.
