      A draft would tear this country in half. Not that it would stop them, but it wouldn’t result in very many new bodies but would make the Vietnam protests look tame

      I know I would sooner be court marshalled than join the military. I wonder what the response would be like in the general population if they tried this. My hopium says it wouldn’t fly, but I’ve seen how shitty my fellow countrymen and women can be.
