This is dumb, that’s money that could be spent improving the lives of Canadians instead of largely going to US weapons manufacturers that help Trump get elected.
The only threat Canada faces is from the US, who it will never outspend anyway.
That’s a very ignorant take.
Why? Most Canadian military spending goes to the US arms manufacturers that help Trump.
Who is Canada going to defend itself from if not the US? Are there even enough first people’s left to bomb, didn’t you round them all up when they opposed oil pipelines leaking on their land?
Even that’s ignoring that the 30% being spent domestically is going to the kind of Canadians that supported the trucker convoy.
