US President Donald Trump has unveiled renovations to the bathroom in the Lincoln Bedroom, as his remodelling of the White House continues.
Trump shared photos of the new bathroom on social media, saying it had been “renovated in the 1940s in an art deco green tile style, which was totally inappropriate for the Lincoln Era”.
He claimed the new black and white marble is “very appropriate for the time of Abraham Lincoln and, in fact, could be the marble that was originally there!”.
All of that money could have been given directly to rebuilding rural America.
Always awesome seeing something like this smashed between other posts about Americans losing healthcare and slowing starving.
Looks cheap. We have better in south east asia.

Well you see, Ab Lincoln happened a long time ago and everything old is black and white so this marble is old because its black and white. It could even be from the same time! -DT probably

Might be a hot take, but I truly don’t care about the design of the room where the US president shits, and neither should anyone else care (except maybe the US president himself).
This is evidence he doesn’t intend to leave.

Trump’s veiny marble and gold fixtures is absolutely worse than green tile.
Aesthetic issues aside, that is objectively really shitty marble to have used. Quality marble looks basically the opposite of that and isnt so intensely veiny. This is like the cheapest marble you could find. It looks like temu marble pattern garbage
Much like everything else he’s had decorated.
