Media giant Sinclair called on Jimmy Kimmel to apologize directly to Charlie Kirk’s family over remarks he made about the conservative activist’s killing, and to give both them and Turning Point USA a “meaningful personal donation.”
It is Sinclair though, they are the unnamed affiliate from the headline. They own 39% of ABC local stations nationwide (officially, with more through shell corps), which is why they were able to pull this bs. Although, I’m sure ABC/Disney would have folded anyways with the FCC threatening them.
It’s not Sinclair this time but it’s just as bad. Nexstar wants to merge with Tegna and create a new Sinclair, basically.

No worries, it would be far more accurate of the headline to list it as sinclair media anyways instead of a nameless affiliate.
