How would someone even hang themselves off a tree? Was there a tipped over ladder found underneath? Like what fucking insane lunatic would ever thing that this was a suicide?
Just to play the devils advocate, it’s possible to climb a tree, tie a noose, and jump off. Hanging from a tree has some serious connotations and it is possible - though Occam’s razor is against it - that this is a suicide. I’d expect a note to be found, though. It would be odd to choose such a loaded method and then not leave a manifesto.
Devil’s advocate to your devil’s advocate. I wouldn’t presume suicidal people are in the right head space to consider the potential political ramifications based on the method they choose. Possible? Sure. I just wouldn’t default to it.
