The full quote was “conservative media commentator” which I think means he comments on conservative media, not that he is a conservative who is a media commentator. I agree it’s confusing wording though.
Would’ve been better if they just called him a gonzo journalist as he’s closer to that then a commentator.
I don’t think anyone would read it to mean that. Also, he interviews just as many people on the left, but mostly people who are…just completely out there.
