It’s just indicative of them preserving their own intellectual apparatus throughout its conversation with the west, the chemistry part of that is a lot more threatening, or they wouldn’t be bombing pharmaceutical plants. People tend to essentialize cultural qualities they admire or religious conviction, but maybe there is someone out there who really believes these are metaphysical rockets.
