I know this is just a distraction from the Epstein files, but if you really want people to take to the streets and take up arms, the go ahead and arrest Obama. People won’t stand for that, because they know that if you arrest a former president for no reason then they can be arrested and imprisoned for no reason. Right now, it’s only immigrants, so not many people are willing to act, but once they start arresting dissenters, I feel like shit is going to get wild.
This is why I think Trump and the current admin won’t actually go after Obama. The Democrats sat on legitimate Jan 6th evidence and didn’t do anything.
If the Trump admin arrests Obama on some sham charges, and then the Democrats come back in power, then all bets are off. I think this only happens if Republicans get really desperate. But with all three branches of government under Republican control I don’t think they’re there yet.
