DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said the Trump administration is exploring prosecuting CNN for reporting on an app that alerts users to nearby ICE agents.

You’re assuming the US survives. If the federal government collapses chucking federal agents at the ICC would be a decent way to earn international legitimacy without expending worthwhile resources.
