The package now goes back to the House, where Speaker Mike Johnson had warned senators not to deviate too far from what his chamber had already approved. But the Senate did make changes, particularly to Medicaid, risking more problems as they race to finish by Trump’s Fourth of July deadline.
Why do the press act as if Trump’s self-imposed “deadline” actually matters?
They’re going to get their way. They always were. There is no chance Mike Johnson is going to allow the House to stray too far away from Trump’s dick. Next midterm.
What do you think is going to happen with midterms?
You said before next election. I’m saying next midterm. A strong surge of people who suddenly feel compelled to vote is inevitable. They need to combat that before the next midterms.
Republicans know. This is not their first rodeo. What do you think is going to happen after a bunch of Democrats somehow get voted in?
what trump wants is the only thing that ever matters to these people. might as well move forward with the assumption that “the press” is trump’s personal propaganda machine. because it is
