The ban will fully restrict entry of nationals from 12 countries: Afghanistan; Myanmar, also known as Burma; Chad; Republic of the Congo; Equatorial Guinea; Eritrea; Haiti; Iran; Libya; Somalia; Sudan; and Yemen.
It’s an EO, right? Repeatedly calling it a “proclamation” seems like king-speak from CNN. Fuck CNN.
You don’t think it’s on purpose as a form of protest?
Not from CNN, no. I believe their exec came over from Fox or something. They’ve been trying to use their reputation as a “moderate” news source to pull people rightward. Using terminology like this is one such tactic.
