A new Public Citizen report found that President Joe Biden’s Justice Department (DOJ) prosecuted fewer corporate criminals in 2024 than in any previous year over the past three decades. Over the course of Biden’s four-year term, the DOJ prosecuted fewer corporate criminals than any previous president’s four-term as far back as the first Clinton administration.

First off, it’s not “Biden’s DOJ”, because he refused to go along with the dumbshittery that Trump has.
It’s the DOJ. It’s SUPPOSED to be an independent entity. Biden, to our dismay, didn’t influence the DOJ to do their jobs.
Now we have “Trump’s DOJ”, which is the opposite. An unofficial collusion between the Executive and Judicial branches through politics and political pressure.
Now, this dipshit article seems to claim that there exists a baseline of prosecutorial needs as a quota to determine “success”. I’d be looking at what Lina Khan did and start splooshing on the floor.
The DOJ is SUPPOSED to have cases referred to them. Don’t blame “Biden’s DOJ” for not seeking them out. Blame them for not having Trump and his kids in a prison.

The Democrats at so many steps helped all this happen. The endless funneling of money into police and ICE, for instance. Obama appointing Tom Homan to ICE for another.
